  1. DON’T THROW IT DOWN! If you have trash, put it in a trash can. It really is that simple. If you don’t throw it down, nobody else has to pick it up!

  2. PICK UP ONE PIECE OF LITTER! If you see trash while you are out, pick it up and put it in a trash can. We have 71,000 people in St. Joseph. If everyone picked up ONE THING, just think of the difference it could make in ONE DAY!

  3. TAKE A MINUTE! Walk your block, pick a park, grab some friends! It doesn’t take much, just a bag, a little time and YOU.

  4. POST YOUR PICTURES! Take a pic of you and your Tuesday Trash Bag and post it in our Facebook group! You might just inspire someone else to do it too!

It really doesn’t take much to make a big difference.
